I've been a keen fishkeeper for almost 45 years, having got my first aquarium when our treasurer & I started senior school together. In all that time I've rarely been without a group of cichlids. I've been a BCA member for a number of years now, though I wish I'd joined sooner, & treasure our organisation, both for the expertise contained within the membership, & for the close contact with fellow cichlid enthusiasts that membership of our community brings.

I'm honoured to join the illustrious ranks of those who have served our association, & hope I can live up to those who have gone before me. I'm relishing the challenge of helping guide the BCA towards a bright new future, & I hope that you'll all join me in that journey.
